Simple Hash Brown Recipe

You can make the hash brown recipe in a short time, especially convenient at breakfast.

  • 9 Russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup white onion (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp regular butter (or natural butter spread)
  • salt (to taste)
  • garlic powder (to taste)


  1. Peel and then grate all the potatoes on the big holes.

  2. Rice the potatoes just to strain the moisture.

  3. Put the grated potatoes that are inside the ricer on a container.

  4. Heat a frying pan with the butter.

  5. Add the potatoes and onion to the frying pan without making a coat that is too thick.

  6. Sprinkle some salt and garlic powder.

  7. After 8 minutes then separate them in 4 or 5 pieces and turn with a heat proof spatula.

  8. Keep turning until all is golden.
