Potato Chowder Recipe

Potatoes and cream cheese are a delicious combination. The potato chowder recipe is really very simple. Using a slow cooker saves you time in the kitchen because you can cook a complete, healthy meal using only a crock pot.

Preparation Time :   25 minutes

Cooking Time :        8 hours

Ingredients:

7 or 8 cups potatoes (diced)

1/2 cup  onions (finely chopped)

3 (14 1/2ounce) cans chicken broth

10 3/4ounce (1 can) condensed cream of chicken soup

8 ounce cream cheese (in cubes)

1/2 lb to 1 lb bacon (fully cooked and crumbled)

  • First, combine potatoes, onions, chicken broth, and condensed soup in a crock pot.
  • Then, cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 8 hours or until potatoes are soft and tender.
  • Next, add the cream cheese cubes to the crock pot and mix all together.
  • Finally, add the bacon on top before serving.

Enjoy!
