Making Mashed Potatoes The Day Before

by Mary
(Minnesota)

How can I make my mashed potatoes the day before and can I reheat them in a crock pot, how?

Answer:

Hello Mary,

You can cook mashed potatoes the day before and refrigerate them for up to 2 days.

You can reheat the mashed potatoes in a toaster oven. To reheat them, just place the mashed potatoes in an oven proof container for some minutes at 250° F.

If it is just a little amount, use some aluminum foil.
