Fried Mashed Potatoes Recipe

The fried mashed potatoes recipe can be of help when you want the mashed potatoes prepared on a nontraditional way.

Change the routine using simple ingredients for the potatoes side dish. The recipe is very simple and anybody can do it. You can use other seafood, lean meat cuts instead of the shrimp or just eat the potatoes alone; they will still taste just right.

If you know your way around the Caribbean cuisine (particularly Hispanic) you will notice that it can be called a potato mofongo as well.
