Would you like to cook crockpot potatoes the easy way? First, some of you maybe be wondering .....what is a crock pot? A crock pot is an electric cooker that lets you cook food at a low temperature. Cooking with a crock pot is very easy, and you can prepare delicious potato recipes, too.

 

Crock Pot Basics : This is a very easy crock pot potato recipe

 

 

Step 1

  • Choose about 1 or 2 medium size potato per person.  Rinse each potato under running water and you can also scrub them, gently, with a vegetable brush. (You can also use 3 to 4 (15 oz.) cans of white potatoes instead).

Step 2

  • Now, peel the potatoes and cut them in small pieces. Remember to remove the sprouts and all green and dark spots.

Step 3

  • Add the potatoes to the crock pot, and add 2 cups of sour cream, about 10 bacon strips (already cooked and chopped), about 5 medium onions (thinly sliced), and 2 cans of condensed cream of celery soup (or your favorite condensed soup). Remember, Do Not dilute the soup.

Step 4

  • Combine all the ingredients and cook for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
