Creamy Scalloped Potatoes
The creamy scalloped potatoes recipe takes about 15 minutes to prepare and about

Ingredients:
6 russet potatoes
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 chopped onion
2 1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon butter
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F degrees. Grease the bottom and side of a deep
casserole.
- Rinse potatoes under running water. Then, peel the potatoes. Cut
them into 1/8 inch slices.
- In a separate saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium
heat. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes until tender. Stir in flour, salt
and pepper. Stirring constantly, cook until the sauce begins to boil. Then,
remove saucepan from heat.
- Next, stir in milk, and bring to boil and keep stirring
constantly. (For about 1 minute).
- Put the potatoes into a casserole. Add the sauce to cover the
potatoes. Add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Finally, cover and bake for about 35 minutes, until potatoes are
soft and tender. Wait about 5 minutes before serving.
