Potato Cheddar Cheese Recipe
The potato Cheddar cheese recipe will surprise you
because of it's great taste. Bacon it's an optional ingredient, but it
can make a difference in terms of flavor.
If you want a substitute for bacon, you can use
ham. You don't like meat at all? You can try some paprika, or
any other seasoning you like.
The grated Cheddar cheese and potatoes (of course), are the main
ingredients for this recipe.

- 5 Russet potatoes (medium size, already peeled and
- 2 slices of turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese (to use as topping)
Before preparing the potato recipe, be sure to
preheat oven at 350 degrees F (177°C).
First, in a small pot or sauce pan, melt the butter and
mix in the flour.
Then add milk while stirring with a whisk.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Keep cooking the sauce on low heat, stirring
occasionally, for 1 or two minutes.

degrees F (177°C).
