Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes

The cauliflower mashed potatoes is one of those recipes that can surprise you because of its great taste.

 

What about trying this great recipe and give these mashed potatoes a chance. It's not only delicious, but believe it or not, these dish is healthy, too.

Here is the recipe:

 

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

4 servings

 

Ingredients:

 10 oz cauliflower florets

 2 pounds potatoes  (peeled and diced)

 3 cloves garlic  (minced)

 1 Tablespoon butter

 1/4 cup whole milk

 1/4 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

 Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

 

 

  • First, put cauliflower florets and diced potatoes in a large saucepan. Cover them with water.

  • Then, boil and cook for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 
     
  • Next, drain the vegetables, and return vegetables to the saucepan.

  • Now, add garlic, butter, milk, and cheese. If you want, you can add a pinch of salt and pepper.

  • Finally, mash all the ingredients. If you want a softer consistency, just add one or 2 tablespoons of milk.
