Can raw potato be used for juice together with other vegetables?

by Bill
(Toronto)

I was told drinking fresh juice made from "potato, apple and carrot" every morning before breakfast is good for health. I have no doubt about apple and carrot, but have never heard of using raw potato for juice. Therefore want to find out if eating raw potato is OK.

Answer :

Hi Bill,

I have heard about some people who like to eat small pieces a raw potato from time to time and, believe it or not, there are some people who use raw potato for juice.

Drinking apple juice every morning before breakfast is appropriate for the health of the body. Adding raw carrots is a good idea if you like it. But drinking "raw potato juice" ? In my opinion is not a good idea; just drink the apple juice; or carrot juice if you like. Again, just my opinion.
